Thousands of Sea Turtles migrate annually from the shores of the Arabian Gulf, Red Sea, Somalia to lay their eggs on the Sultanate'shores. Oman has 5 of the 7 species of Sea Turtles. They are :- The Green Turtles found on most of Oman beaches and plentiful in Ras Al Jinz, Al Hadd, Masirah Island and Ad Daymaniyat Island.
